Don't Be Juicin'
In the science news: It's not a good idea to mix your meds and your, uh, grapefruit juice, according to a report in The New York Times:
In 1989, a group of Canadian researchers studying a blood pressure drug were astonished to discover that drinking a glass of grapefruit juice dangerously increased the drug's potency. [...]Tell your folks.
"People didn't believe us," Dr. Bailey said. "They thought it was a joke. We had trouble getting it published in a major medical journal."

This is scary cause so many old people drink so much grapefruit juice with so many drugs . . .
