Great article about Basque arborglyphs in the American West, from today's Post. The closing thought may ring true to today's expatriates, whether or not they consider themselves "immigrants."

These workers led very solitary lives. It's good that today expatriates can take part in often very large communities of their countrymen (see the Hispanic community in the US, the Indian community in the UK, etc.).
